The Nissan 240SX has been a popular car for performance tuners, and a great way to customize these vehicles is with body kits.  This car has two production periods and there are body kits for both.  These two generations are 1989-1994 and 1995-1998. Some of the differences are a sleeker style with the second generation and the elimination of the flip up head lights.  Body kits can restyle either of the designs on both generations to give you a personal creative touch to your ride.

These body kits are designed to enhance the appearance of your car as well as add performance handling as well.  There are body kits for these cars that can give your ride the look of a different model such as the Silvia S15 which is a high performance car, and a popular one at that.  You don't have to go too crazy with body kits if you don't want an extreme design.  There are many body kits with more subtle changes that can still personalize your car without over doing it.  If you want that race design or more aggressive style there are many body kits that can give you exact ally that.

From the performance aspect of body kits, you can improve the traction and handling if you drive at higher speeds.  This is done by reducing the amount of lift created without body kits.  This lift can be harmful while traveling at high speeds around corners causing you to lose traction.  Body kits will redirect the air flow that normally would travel under your car and redirect it over the top creating down force.  The down force created by body kits presses your automobile down to the road creating this improved traction and ability to rely on your handling.

Body kits should be installed with care, and if you are not too sure about how to install ground effects yourself then you should consult a professional to help you or do it for you.  Any damage done to body kits during install will result in poor fitment and you will not be able to get a refund from the seller.

Having a pro install body kits will ensure:

  • Quality Fitment
  • Professional Appearance
  • Time Saved and Reduced Chance of Damage
  • Quality Paint Job If Done By Body Shop
